1. Service Description

Salem Sweeper is a notification service operated by Kos Holdings LLC (DBA Salem Sweeper) that monitors the City of Salem, Oregon street sweeping schedule and sends alerts to registered users when sweeping is scheduled for their saved address(es). Email alerts are provided free of charge. SMS (text message) alerts are available for an annual subscription fee of $9.99.

2. SMS alerts — consent & opt-in

By adding and verifying a mobile phone number in your Salem Sweeper account settings and enabling SMS alerts, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Salem Sweeper (Kos Holdings LLC) sent from +1 (833) 632-2488.

These messages will notify you when street sweeping is scheduled for your saved Salem, OR address. Message frequency varies based on the City of Salem's sweeping schedule — typically 1–2 messages per scheduled sweep event per address.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Your phone number will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How to opt out of SMS

You may opt out of SMS alerts at any time by any of the following methods:

Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
Log in to your account, go to Account Settings, and disable SMS alerts or remove your phone number.

To re-enable SMS alerts after opting out, log in to your account settings and re-add and verify your phone number.

4. Help

Reply HELP to any SMS message for assistance, or visit salemsweeper.com to manage your account settings.

5. Billing & subscriptions

SMS alert subscriptions are billed annually at $9.99/year via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods.

6. Data accuracy

Salem Sweeper retrieves schedule data directly from the City of Salem's GIS system. We make no guarantees as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Always verify your street sweeping schedule through official City of Salem channels. Salem Sweeper is not affiliated with the City of Salem.

7. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all notifications will stop immediately, your data will be removed, and any active SMS subscription will be cancelled.

8. Limitation of liability

Salem Sweeper and Kos Holdings LLC are not liable for any damages resulting from missed street sweeping notifications, delayed alerts, inaccurate schedule data, or service interruptions. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Privacy

We collect your email address, saved addresses, and optionally your mobile phone number solely to provide the notification service. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. SMS opt-in data and consent is never shared with third parties.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
